Artist
Jonathan Hernandez is a Spanish graphic designer and illustrator based in Dublin. He is the owner of the CLASS© Store, an upcoming brand selling camp fashion apparel and accessories focused on queer history and counterculture.
Through digital image manipulation, photography and collage, his art celebrates queer identities through history.
His work ‘Crash the Cistem’ subverts a famous piece of Neoclassical Art and transforms it into a piece of guerrilla activism, an invitation to reflect on what is considered a non-binary body and what kind of icons get to be hanged on the gallery wall.
